Keynote AI in Education : Facts and Challenges

There are myths, promises, and challenges surrounding the use of artificial intelligence in education, so it is crucial to approach the topic with a balanced perspective. The current reality of AI in education is still in its early stages, with limited implementations and ongoing development. AI has the potential to enhance education, but it is not a substitute for human teachers. Ethical considerations must be addressed to ensure data privacy, personalization, and fairness. AI in education raises ethical questions such as the collection and exploitation of data, rights of the child, and human agency. Personalization of learning through AI creates worries is it guiding or limiting students’ educational experiences. By understanding the realities and challenges associated with AI in education, we can navigate its implementation more effectively and leverage its potential for the benefit of learners and educators alike.
